The Smoking Gun from Sage is certainly something you can imagine the great man himself using for one of his amazing creations. Where there's smoke there's flavour and the Smoking Gun maximises the flavour of meats, cheeses, desserts, condiments and cocktails by imparting a smoky flavour and aroma without changing their texture. The dual speed settings allow for gentle or intense smoking and the flexible silicone smoke tube directs the smoke to where it is needed (it is also removable for compact storage). There are several techniques for smoking: Smoke cooked food in a container or sealable bag and allow the smoke to infuse for up to 3 minutes. For a smokier flavour repeat as necessary. For a real experience you can smoke at the tableside. Fill a glass serving cloche or upturned glass with smoke and place over the plate of food.
