Thomastik Dominant Pro Violin E String 4/4 Size Medium

The Thomastik Dominant Pro Violin E String is suited to soloists wanting projection dynamic range and responsive playing. Its carbon steel core gives notes an immediate focused response while the tin plating is separated from the steel by a protective nickel layer for increased corrosion resistance. The result is an E string designed to maintain its performance over time. With a medium 8 kg tension the Dominant Pro E offers high resistance to bow pressure while still producing a broad brilliant sound without requiring excessive force. Its tone balances warmth with bell-like brilliance helping your violin carry across the room while sitting evenly alongside the A string. Plus its wide dynamic range lets you move between very quiet and powerful playing with control. The specially treated wire also helps reduce harshness and whistling giving you a softer more balanced response without sacrificing radiance or projection.
