Thomastik Single string for Violin 4/4 Dominant - E-string Steel Blank, Soft, Loop End

The Thomastik Dominant Violin E String is suited to students and teachers needing a stable balanced E string. This model has an unwound stainless steel core producing a bright focused tone with immediate response and clear articulation. A light 7.5 kg tension provides a softer more responsive feel making fast passages and lower positions easier with less fatigue.Changing atmospheric conditions and humidity can affect string performance but this Dominant E string is designed to remain highly stable through these variations. This consistency has made Dominant strings widely used as a benchmark by students and teachers around the world particularly when choosing strings for smaller fractional-size violins. This version also has a loop end making it compatible with hook-style fine tuners.
