Thompson & Morgan 2 x Hydrangea Early Blue 10.5cm Pot, Green

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Early Blue' is a hardy shrub that blooms earlier than other varieties, showcasing dark blue mophead blooms at the tips of each stem. Its skeletal seedheads persist even after the flowers have faded, adding winter interest. This variety thrives in acid borders or containers with ericaceous soil, maintaining its vibrant blue colour. Blue flowers may turn pink as they fade during autumn and alkaline tap water or soil can also affect the flower colour. To maintain the deepest blue colour throughout the season, it is recommended to use Hydrangea Colourant. With a height and spread of 120cm (48"), it is an ideal choice for borders, patio pots, and various garden styles.
