Candytuft 'Dwarf Fairy' is a showy mix of candytufts, perfect for beds and borders in your cottage or wildlife garden, or can even provide a colourful splash on the patio when planted in containers. Great as a last minute border filling mix that will flower throughout the summer months. Where to sow: Outdoors where they are to flower. Preparation: Prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Sowing: Sow 3mm (1/8in) deep, in rows 30cm (12in) apart, or scatter seed in beds or borders as a gap filler and lightly cover over. Germination usually takes 14-30 days. Growing:When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 23cm (9in) apart. Water regularly until plants are fully established.
