Foxglove Excelsior Hybrid Mixed is a summer flowering hardy biennial that will produce stunning flower spikes which are ideal for a shady garden border. Once established foxgloves can reach up to 150cm in height. Easy to sow and grow this mix will produce flowers which vary from dark to light pink and white - one of the most stunning flowers you can grow. Sow seed in late spring early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed. Sow very thinly 1.5mm (1/16in) in drills 30cm (12in) apart, keep the soil damp until germination takes place and thin out the seedlings to 15cm (6in) apart when large enough to handle. Transplant 60cm (24in) apart into flowering site in the autumn for flowering the following year.
