Pear 'Conference' produces large, bell-shaped fruits with green skin and a juicy flavour. They can be eaten hard or fully ripe, though we recommend picking them when they are slightly under-ripe, ready to harvest from October to November, and store indoors in a cool place so they can ripen slowly. This variety is partially self-fertile. For the heaviest crops it is best grown with another variety.
