A TROPICAL FRUIT EXPLOSION: Embodying the essence of Sri Lanka’s markets. Aromatic jasmine and tropical rambutan mix with Sri Lanka’s native palm-flower spirit to create a complex and layered cocktail addition. Add a few dashes to your favourite drink for a tropical twist on a classic, from Old Fashioneds to Gin & Tonics. RAMBUTAN, JASMINE, ARRACK: The flavour profile would work really well with the drinks we serve at Dishoom. Pettah Market in particular would work in citrus forward cocktails. MARKET OLD FASHIONED: 50ml Whisky, 10ml Sugar Syrup (1:1), 5ml Three Families Pettah Market. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir down with cubed ice until nicely chilled. Strain into a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with your tropical fruit of choice and serve. INGREDIENTS: Green tea cold brew, with a Ceylon Arrack based tea tincture, blended with dried rose buds, black lime, whole dried lime, lime powder, quassia bark, chinchona bark, Sichuan peppercorn, with lychee, rambutan, lily of the valley distillates.
