HOW IT WORKS: The Thuasne IT Band Sport provides support and adjustable compression targeted on the lower part of the muscle of the outer thigh, the tensor fasciae latae (TFL) through the removable insert. It helps limit knee pain for runners affected by windshield wiper syndrome during sports activities. Adjustment aid thanks to the tightening buckle. Held in place by the hook and loop system. INDICATIONS: Pain or tendinitis of the iliotibial band (so-called “windshield wiper” or "runner's knee" syndrome"). Resumption of sports activities (running, trail running, football...). EASY TO USE: Place the band above the knee affected by the windshield wiper syndrome, place the removable insert on the outside of the knee, right on the painful spot. Adjust the tension of the buckle with the hook and loop system. The band is placed directly on the skin, or on a thin garment if it is not on a seam, a fold or a hard point. The product is ambidextrous and can be adapted to the left or right knee. ONE SIZE: The Thuasne IT Band Sport is available in one size, corresponding to a thigh circumference of 27 to 51 cm, measured 8 cm above the knee.
