Torabhaig Sound of Sleat Batch Strength - The Legacy Series

The fourth chapter in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, Sound of Sleat, takes its name from that wild stretch of water between Skye and the mainland. This cracking single malt is made with a mix of Concerto and Laureate malted barley, peated to over 78 PPM and fermented with 100% Pinnacle MG yeast for a full 72 hours, showing off the distillery’s ever-evolving style of “Smoke with Taste.” It’s matured in Quercus Alba American oak, drawing its depth from first-fill heavily toasted barrels, first-fill Kentucky Bourbon casks aged four to six years, and well-seasoned Bourbon barrels with more than a decade behind them. Bottled at 46% ABV with no chill filtration or added colouring, it keeps all its natural character and a hearty, full-bodied feel.
