Ultrastar Ultrastar DC HC580 Internal 3.5 in SAS 3.0 22TB 7200RPM/512MB Drive

The Western Digital Ultrastar DC HC580 is a 22TB 3.5-inch enterprise hard drive for data centres, with a SAS interface, 7200 RPM spindle speed and 512MB cache. It uses Western Digital's OptiNAND technology, energy-assisted magnetic recording (EAMR), a triple-stage actuator and HelioSeal helium-sealed construction to deliver high capacity at low power on a CMR platform. ArmorCache, enabled by OptiNAND, improves performance with write cache disabled and provides power-loss protection with write cache enabled. The drive is rated for workloads of up to 550TB per year and a projected MTBF of 2.5 million hours.
