Unwins Sweet Pea Seeds 'Romeo' produce elegant, fragrant blooms ideal for borders, containers and cut flowers. These easy-to-grow seeds prefer full sun to part shade and moist, well-drained fertile soil, flowering from May to August and attracting bees and other pollinators. Sow indoors October-November or January-April, transplant to a sunny sheltered site about 25cm apart, and provide supports for climbing stems. Pinch out shoots at 10cm, dead-head regularly and feed with a potassium-rich fertiliser to encourage more flowers.
