V&A Mug Alice in Wonderland 'Mad Hatter' Design – Fine China White 350 ml Gift Box

Turn daily coffee breaks in to your very own Mad Hatter's tea party, by sipping hot drinks from this lovely white mug, from the Alice in Wonderland collection, by V&A. This fine china coffee mug is decorated with a black and white illustration of the Hatter making a speech at his tea party. He's dressed in a suit and his signature over-sized top hat, while his bow tie is finished with shimmering gold detail. His declaration 'We're all mad here!' skirts around the inside rim of the mug in a striking, swirly font. The designs are inspired by an Alice in Wonderland card game based on illustrations by Sir John Tenniel (1820 - 1914). Turn the tea mug around and you'll see the Mad Hatter marching off in to the distance, with his tea cup and sandwich still firmly in hand. And that's not all! Just like Wonderland, this mug is packed with new surprises at every turn. Finish your drink and you'll see a small image of the March Hare appear on the base.
