Our ethically produced Olive Wood products are made from a sustainable source by a co-operative of olive wood farmers in Tunisia. Olive Wood is a beautiful, hard-wearing and hygienic wood. Caring for your Olive Wood item is quite simple just wipe over with a hot cloth and occasionally wipe over with a little light vegetable oil to maintain the beauty of the olive wood. Country of Origin: Tunisia Dishwasher & Microwave Safe: No Approx dimensions: 25cm Caring for your olive wood: Hand wash only, you should not put your olive wood item (or any other wooden item) in a dishwasher. Do not leave soaking in water; this will permanently damage the wood. To prevent the wood from drying out occasionally wipe over with a soft cloth soaked in oil. We recommend a light mineral oil or ‘butchers oil’. You may also use a light vegetable oil. Olive oil may be used but will make the wood darker and sticky over a period of time.
