The Nestor collection is designed by Tom Stepp and inspired by the classic shaker craft traditions and is made with careful attention to detail and the use of natural materials. This series is made of FSC-certified wood which is durable and environmentally friendly. The chairs' hand-woven seat of paper string is also FSC-certified and biodegradable. The lacquer used on all the wooden parts on the Nestor chairs is water-based, which makes it much more environmentally friendly than oil-based alternatives, while at the same time giving it a beautiful finish.
