As a tribute to this village in La Rioja Alavesa (in northern Spain), this red wine is made from old vineyards aged over 30 years old and lying very close to the Camino Real. In fact, this strategic location is what inspired the name of the Viña Real winery, who make this red wine. The Bakeder grapes are grown in their own vineyards in San Ginés and Castejones, in a total area of 8.78 hectares between 550 and 600 metres above sea level.
