By the banks of the Vinaspre stream, very close to the Rioja municipality of Lanciego, lies a very special plot planted with tempranillo, on clay-limestone soils. Its owners, Julio and his wife, always cultivated it with a single desire: to produce their own wine; however, harvest after harvest, and due to various circumstances, the grapes always ended up being sold to the cooperative. Time passed, but the dream did not fade, and before the couple passed away, their granddaughter was able to learn of that desire. Today, more than just a wine, Viuda Negra Arca de Asa is a promise that continues to be fulfilled thanks to the efforts of Javier San Pedro and the granddaughter of that couple, who is currently his wife.
