The Warm Audio WA-8000 large-diaphragm condenser microphone is based on the very valve-mike that gave big R&B and hip-hop hits from the '90s those crisp, in-your-face vocals. The K67-style capsule inside the WA-8000 is the same capsule found inside various legendary microphones of German making, while the output transformer is courtesy of the Sweden-based Lundahl. Just like its source of inspiration, the Warm Audio WA-8000 features a striking design with the heat sink and valve fitted to the outside of the body - a construction that not only helps to ensure a lower noise floor but more consistent performance by the internal electronics. This superb studio microphone comes complete with a shock mount, a 7-pin power cable, a power supply and a protective case.
