Creamy in colour and mildly nutty in flavour, use this soft ancient grain flour like regular white flour. Spelt is a species of wheat that has been cultivated since approximately 5000 BC. More water-soluble than wheat, it is easier for the body to digest and this White Spelt Flour produces a light eating loaf with its soft gluten characteristics. It can also be used in general baking of everything from pastry, to cakes, biscuits and pancakes.
