Also used to help reduce injury from sports by keeping muscles healthy and flexible. Magnesium flakes are safe to use for babies, children and during pregnancy. USE FOR BATHING OR FOOT SOAKING: Westlab Magnesium Flakes 2-3 times a week. Add 1-4 cups to a warm, but not hot bath relax for around 20 minutes. A magnesium bath is the ideal way to relax your mind and body after a long day and set you up for a great night's sleep. Infants over 3 months old, use a heaped teaspoon in a baby bath. Older children, initially use approximately 100g-250g per 15cm adult bath. Increased to a maximum of 500g for under 10s. Allow the salt to dissolve in warm water (approx 37°C) and let your child enjoy a salt bath for around 20 minutes up to 3 times per week. Gently pat the skin dry after the bath. For Foot soaking - add 1 cup to a 5-litre foot-bowl.
