While the grain is currently considered a delicacy in North America, it is less popular in China, where the plant's stem is consumed as a vegetable. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: It has a greater fibre level than the majority of whole grains and is an important source of critical vitamins and minerals. Return to the boil, cover, and simmer for 45-50 minutes until the grains have popped.
