There are various types of lentils, but Brown, Red, Green, and Yellow lentils are the most widely used in cooking. Don't be deceived by their names; the last two are Split peas, a sort of "Field Pea." ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Green Split Peas have a slight natural sweetness as well as a nutty, earthy flavour. They are an excellent source of fibre and vitamins. Lentils, like split peas, have minerals and are a wonderful source of protein.
