Wholefood Earth is certified organic and has officially been awarded a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating ✔ NUTRITIOUS Organic Brown Basmati Rice: Only the outermost layers of grains and shells are removed, while the bran is kept intact, preserving beneficial elements in brown rice. Produced in Asia at the foot of the Himalayas. The gentle milling process removes broken grains and separates the starch that makes the rice sticky. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: One technique of categorising rice is by size. Because of their high starch content, short grains are the stickiest rice, whereas long grains tend to remain separated and are significantly lighter when cooked. All brown rice variants are entire grains with just the inedible hull removed. After cooking, whole grains become fluffy and airy, making long brown rice great for pilafs, salads, and fillings. ✔ INSTRUCTION FOR USE: Allow 75g of rice per person. Rinse rice in cold water. Add 2 parts water and 1-part rice, bring a large pan of water to a boil. Add rice to the pan, stir and return to the boil. Cover and simmer for 22-25 minutes.
