A low-calorie whole grain, high in fibre, and adaptable to a range of cuisines. Rice is a great source of minerals and vitamins. Because long-grain rice is less sticky and delicate, it requires less water to cook, than short-grain rice. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: One technique of categorising rice is by size. Because of their high starch content, short grains are the stickiest rice, whereas long grains tend to remain separated and are significantly lighter when cooked. All brown rice variants are entire grains with just the inedible hull removed. After cooking, whole grains become fluffy and airy, making long brown rice great for pilafs, salads, and fillings. ✔ INSTRUCTION FOR USE: Allow 75g of rice per person. Rinse rice in cold water. Add 2 parts water and 1-part rice, bring a large pan of water to a boil. Add rice to the pan, stir and return to the boil. Cover and simmer for 22-25 minutes.
