TVP Natural Chunks Soya Protein: TVP stands for textured vegetable protein; however, because it is manufactured from soya beans, a more correct term would be textured soya protein. Like tofu, it's a fantastic non-meat alternative in casseroles, stews, and curries since it is rather bland and quickly absorbs the flavours and spices of the recipe. HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Miso, Tempeh, and Tofu are just some of the famous dishes from different countries. It can take on any flavour that is thrown at it and can be cooked in an almost endless number of ways. It is a great source of protein and dietary fibre. INSTRUCTION FOR USE: To Cook: Soak in hot water or vegetable stock for 10-15 minutes until the chunks have expanded prior to cooking (roughly 1 cup TVP to 7/8 cups stock) Once fully expanded & water has been soaked up it is ready to use.
