The term semolina is also used to distinguish coarse middlings from other wheat varieties, as well as other grains such as corn and rice. Carotenoids (the same substance that turns carrots orange!) are responsible for the intense yellow colour. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Although most people associate semolina with pasta or couscous, it also creates a flavorful, chewy bread. Harcha (sometimes spelled Harsha) is a Semolina flour-based pan-fried bread. Beghrir, a soft Moroccan pancake, is another way to employ yellow Semolina. Semolina is high in nutrients that will make you feel satisfied for longer.
