Winsor & Newton Cotman Metallic Watercolours can be used interchangeably with all Winsor & Newton watercolour ranges to add highlights and unique shimmering effects. Red Copper is a warm copper offering a deep metallic red tone. Creates a spectrum of secondaries when mixed with Yellow Gold or Iridescent Blue. The Cotman range has a more uniform consistency than the Winsor & Newton Artists' Watercolour range which benefits beginners as there is less to learn about each individual pigment. The Cotman range also relates to the Artists' Watercolour range, enabling artists to use colours from both ranges with minimal adjustment to their technique.
