The 100% silicone compound is the same that Wolf Tooth uses for its Fat Paw Grips, which are renowned in the mountain biking community for their vibration dampening qualities. The extra tacky texture provides ample grip with or without gloves in all weather conditions. It also helps the tape stick to the bars without the usual adhesive backing common on regular bar tape.
