This new edition is a contemporary take on the legendary YEMA sports chronograph worn by legends such as Mario Andretti. It features a completely redesigned steel case, lock buttons and a textured dial reminiscent of vintage racing car dashboards. The date, time and chronograph functions are powered by the hybrid caliber VK64. The finely brushed and polished steel case retains its predecessor's 11mm thickness and 47mm length, but gains 1mm in diameter (40mm), while the shape of the lugs has been slightly redesigned, resulting in a reinforced presence on the wrist. The crown features the embossed YEMA logo and is offset by two chronograph lock buttons, another distinctive design element of this new edition. This iconic French chronograph retains its classic K1 mineral double dome crystal on top and a comfortable 100m water resistance. Playing with light and shadow, the dial has a subtle metallic finish and texture that adds depth and character to the watch, creating greater visual interest. On top of all this are applied hour markers and 60s-inspired Rallye steel hands, all coated with Super-LumiNova. Designed for motorsports and speed, the Rallygraf's tachymeter scale bezel allows you to calculate the average speed over a given distance. The matt finish aluminium bezel contributes to the overall retro look of this chronograph. The case back features the historic YEMA crest, imprinted by hydraulic press with a polished and brushed finish. The hourly functions of the VK64 hybrid movement are powered by a quartz caliper, while the chronograph function is controlled by a mechanical module that determines a smooth movement of the second hand. The case back features the Classic Racing School logo embossed with a hydraulic press, with a polished and brushed finish.
