This new edition is a contemporary take on the legendary YEMA sports chronograph worn by legends such as Mario Andretti. It features a completely redesigned steel case, locking buttons, and a textured dial reminiscent of vintage racing car dashboards. The date, time and chronograph functions are powered by the hybrid caliber VK64. The finely brushed and polished steel case retains the 11 mm thickness and 47 mm length of its predecessor, but gains 1 mm in diameter (40 mm), while the shape of the lugs has been slightly redesigned, resulting in a stronger presence on the wrist. The crown features the embossed YEMA logo and is adorned with two chronograph locking buttons, another distinctive design element of this new edition. This iconic French chronograph retains its classic K1 double dome mineral glass on top and a comfortable water resistance of 100 m. Playing with light and shadow, the dial has a subtle metallic finish and texture that adds depth and character to the watch, creating greater visual interest. In addition to all this, hour markers and Rallye steel hands inspired by the 60s, all coated with Super-LumiNova. Designed for motorsports and speed, the Rallygraf tachometer dial allows you to calculate average speed over a given distance. The aluminium bezel with matte finish contributes to the overall retro look of this chronograph. The bottom of the case features the historic YEMA crest printed by hydraulic press with a polished and brushed finish. The time functions of the VK64 hybrid movement are powered by a quartz bracket, while the chronograph function is controlled by a mechanical module that determines smooth movement of the second hand. The back of the case features the Classic Racing School logo embossed with a hydraulic press, with a polished and brushed finish.
