The Yokohama BLUEARTH-4S AW21 offers an optimal compromise between the performances of a summer tire and a winter one. The rubber compound is locked with micro-silica. This mixture remains stable both on during the dry heat of summer as well as the low temperatures of winter allowing it to maintain its flexibility to promote grip. The central circumferential groove associated with the divergent V-grooves contribute to effective drainage of water and snow in all its forms, even melted.
