Aubrieta 'Florado Blue Eye' is a low-growing evergreen perennial that brings bright spring colour to rockeries, borders, containers and edging. The compact plants form spreading mats of grey-green foliage, topped with blue-purple flowers and bright greenish-yellow eyes from April to May. This creates a striking carpet of colour at the front of displays or tumbling over raised edges.This hardy perennial is useful for sunny, well-drained areas where neat ground cover and early colour are needed. It can also soften the edges of patio pots and baskets, or trail gently over walls and raised beds.Aubrieta 'Florado Blue Eye' is RHS recommended as a 'Plant for Pollinators', helping attract bees and other pollinating insects in spring.
