COMPACT EVERGREEN CLEMATIS, YEAR-ROUND INTEREST: Part of the acclaimed Boulevard Series, Clematis 'Michiko' is a compact, fully hardy evergreen climber that retains its beautiful dark green glossy foliage throughout the year, with big clusters of starry, pure white flowers with striking yellow-green anthers from April through to May. FREE-FLOWERING, POLLINATOR FRIENDLY: Masses of pure white, star-shaped blooms up to 5cm across appear in generous clusters each spring, attracting bees and beneficial pollinating insects reliably throughout the flowering season. Naturally compact at 1.5m tall and 1m wide, 'Michiko' is equally at home climbing an obelisk, trailing over a low wall, scrambling through established shrubs, or taking centre stage in a large patio container.
