Growing up to around 1.5m, it adds vertical drama to sunny borders and creates a bold spring feature above lower bulbs and perennials. STRIKING SPRING STRUCTURE: The upright stems carry whorls of shiny leaves, with the upper section deepening to purple before the flower cluster appears. Each crown of hanging blooms is topped with leafy bracts, giving this bulb its famous architectural silhouette and making it a standout choice for distinctive spring planting.
