ELEGANT COLOUR CHANGE: Tulip 'Shirley' opens with creamy-white flowers delicately edged and flecked in purple, before the colour spreads and softens into a pink-purple blush. This changing effect gives late spring beds, borders and patio containers a refined display with fresh interest as the blooms mature. GRACEFUL SPRING HEIGHT: Growing up to around 60cm tall, this hardy tulip adds height without feeling heavy in the border. Plant in generous groups for the strongest effect, or combine with alliums, wallflowers, forget-me-nots, muscari and other late tulips for layered spring colour. SUPERB FOR VASES: The long, slender flowers make excellent cut stems, bringing ivory, purple and soft blush tones into indoor arrangements.
