The Zipp 303 Firecrest Carbon Disc rear wheel for Tubeless marks a new era and sets new standards with the addition of a disc brake and Tubeless tyres. It now has an internal width of 21 mm and is faster than ever. With a 45 mm profile it offers unmatched aerodynamic performance when used with the wide tyres required for today's driving. Zipp has achieved this with a wider design of specific disc rims that include ABLC dimples that extend to the outer edge. In addition to achieving AeroBalance, the industry-leading crosswind stability and low drag that defines all Firecrest wheels, the 303 Firecrest offers less drag than the previous version when used with 25C or wider tyres. The aerodynamic performance gap between a narrower rim and the 303 grows even wider with 28c and wider tyres thanks to a smoother transition between the tyre profile and the new rim shape.
