Zoom R12

The Zoom R12 MultiTrack Recorder is a compact and portable multitrack recording unit designed for capturing live performances with a built-in stereo audio interface that can be used for studio recording podcasts and more. One of the most versatile multitrack recorders on the market the Zoom R12 is jam-packed with useful features including a crisp touchscreen display for intuitive editing on the fly. The R12 gives you the ability to record/mix songs without the need for a computer. Not only can it record live performances but it can also enhance them. With the inclusion of 150 preloaded drum loops and 18 FM synth instruments to choose from the R12 is a multi-purpose tool for any musician. At the heart of the Zoom R12 are dual high-end preamps that deliver crystal-clear and nuanced audio fidelity. With eight tracks of audio in total the R12 can be used to create everything from demos to fully-fledged songs. Add depth and texture to your signals/sounds using the onboard effects. Each track also features a 3-channel EQ and a compressor. Adding to its portability the Zoom R12 can be run on 4 x AA batteries with a battery life of up to five hours - perfect for musicians on the move. For longer sessions the R12 can also be run via a power adapter (AD-17 power supply included) or via a USB battery. The recorder also features USB/SD card connectivity so you can import your own custom audio samples. In addition to the preamps the R12 also features Hi-Z connectivity so you can plug your guitar directly into the recorder. You can also monitor your sound using the stereo headphone jack or the dedicated 1/4-inch monitor outputs.
