Zuccardi Mountain Vineyard Chardonnay 2023

The Zuccardi family has been making wines in the Uco Valley since the 1960s, but it was not until the early 1980s that they switched from selling wine in bulk to bottling wine. The trigger was the wine crisis in Argentina, which caused many bottling companies to go bankrupt and thousands of hectares of vineyards were uprooted. Faced with this situation, José, the son of the founder Alberto Zuccardi, decided to bottle his own wine and began exporting all over the world, turning the winery into a leading brand in the wine industry. Located in the Uco Valley, in the province of Mendoza (Argentina), about 1,100 metres above sea level, José and his son Sebastian make mountain wines that reflect the area’s unique climate and terroirs. To do this, they use environmentally friendly agriculture and the different vineyards are harvested separately at different times. Zuccardi Mountain Vineyard Chardonnay is a single-variety Chardonnay made with grapes that are directly pressed in the winery a
