Zuccardi Mountain Vineyard Malbec 2023

There are quite a few wine regions in Argentina, but Mendoza is by far the largest of them all. Located in the west of the country, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, Mendoza’s winemakers made a qualitative leap in the 1990s when they went from producing simple wines for Argentines to quality wines for export around the world. Among them, José Alberto Zuccardi, an Argentine with Italian roots, created his own brand with a varied and extensive range of quality wines. Today his grandson Sebastián is in charge of carrying the legacy which is a great responsibility, but one that he has managed with skill. He has not only maintained the legacy, but has enhanced it by adding his own concept of working based mainly on exploring the many microclimates and soils in the area and achieving Andean wines with a sense of place.
