BEFORE FIRST USE: To create the patina, you first need to bake your ZWILLING iron pan. To do this, heat the pan on the cooker or or in the oven at 250° with a little oil until all the oil has evaporated. For a more even, solid patina, this process can be repeated 3-4 times.
