Instant coffee
Its name refers to its method of preparation. Instant means as much as 'immediately', 'directly'. Instant coffee is dried coffee extract in granule or powder form. All you have to do is pour a small amount of hot water over it, stir, and you're ready to enjoy a cup of fresh instant coffee. This is why instant coffee is usually referred to as soluble coffee.
