Autobar Heat Shrink Butt Connectors Blue 3 Pack 3 Pack Blue

Autobar 234HS Heat Shrink Butt Connectors, Blue, Pack of 3This connector does more than a standard crimp butt connector. It combines a crimp, a solder joint and a heat-shrink seal in one. Insert both wire ends and crimp lightly to hold them in place, then apply heat: the internal solder melts to form a soldered electrical connection, while the outer sleeve shrinks down at a 2:1 ratio and its adhesive lining bonds around the wire, sealing the joint against moisture, making it a genuinely waterproof splice.Blue suits cable diameters of 1.5 to 2.5mm, roughly equivalent to 16-14 AWG. Match the connector colour to the wire size being joined, since a connector sized for thinner wire will not grip a thicker one properly, and vice versa.
