Autobar Heat Shrink Butt Connectors Red 3 Pack 3 Pack Red

Autobar 235HS Heat Shrink Butt Connectors, Red, Pack of 3This connector does more than a standard crimp butt connector. It combines a crimp, a solder joint and a heat-shrink seal in one. Insert both wire ends and crimp lightly to hold them in place, then apply heat: the internal solder melts to form a soldered electrical connection, while the outer sleeve shrinks down at a 2:1 ratio and its adhesive lining bonds around the wire, sealing the joint against moisture, making it a genuinely waterproof splice.Red suits cable diameters of 0.5 to 1.5mm, roughly equivalent to 22-18 AWG. Match the connector colour to the wire size being joined, since a connector sized for thinner wire will not grip a thicker one properly, and vice versa.
