Equipped with an extra-long shank, the bit delivers versatile drilling in multilayer building materials or sandwich materials, e.g. for building trade (formwork) and for interior fitting work, plumbing, heating and electrical installation. It is suitable for use on formwork, boards, planks, beams, plasterboard, light building materials, insulations and metal, e.g. metal plates, materials sandwiched with steel, aluminium or profile sheet. Made from HSS (high-speed steel), the Installation Drill Bit is manufactured to DIN 7490. It has a drill bit tip with chisel edge of 118 degrees.
