The Campagnolo Ekar 13V crankset is the heart of the new 1x Ekar system, with its optimized gear ratios. The unique chainring is easy to use: no front mechanism, significantly reduced weight, fewer moving parts to collect dirt or blockages, and provides high chain safety, no wasteful overlapping of gears, perfect for gravel and racing. The carbon fibre unidirectional crankpins feature a crank shaft made of strong and durable 630 grade steel alloy, which follows the maximum intelligent coupling force and light weight used throughout the Ekar group.The large stainless steel bearings are placed in the crank handle, fixed on the half-shafts, for maximum smoothness and strength, and are easily accessible for inspection and maintenance. The light and strong 7075 aluminium rings are easily interchangeable; you can simply unscrew them from the four spider arms without dismantling the crank.
