The base is essential if you have an overhanging parasol as it can easily fall over in the wind. REMOVABLE CAP TO WEIGH WITH SAND OR WATER: Each part has a removable cap to easily fill with sand or water and provide the utmost protection from strong winds. Each section weighs 13kg when filled with water (52kg total) and 16.5kg when filled with sand (66kg total). SUITABLE FOR PARASOLS WITH A 4.5cm to 6cm CROSS-BASE: The 4-piece base is made from weather-resistant, high-density polyethylene for durability and outdoor use. It’s perfect for securing cantilever and banana parasols with a cross-base height of 4.5cm to 6cm. METAL U-LOCKS FOR SUPERIOR STABILITY: Metal U-locks are included to secure all four-parts to the cross-base and prevent them coming loose.
