The Castelli Gabba R jacket is highly protective and aerodynamic. It features an exclusive Castelli fabric with a hydrophilic electro-spun microporous polyurethane membrane. The outer membrane keeps the jacket lightweight and breathable, preventing additional layers that retain moisture. The fabric weighs only 125 g/m² and stretches at least twice its original dimension in every direction. The inner lining of the fabric is composed of 78% polyester and 22% elastane to maintain extreme elasticity while enhancing breathability. The polyurethane membrane has been formulated to be more hydrophobic than standard polyurethane.It has a design with an elastic cuff to prevent water ingress, a waterproof YKK Vislon zipper, three rear pockets, and an elongated back panel with a reflective strip. The membrane and all the fabric are free from PFAS.
