Dominant Strings 130 1/8 Aluminium Wound Regular Violin E String

The Thomastik Dominant Violin E String is suited to students and teachers needing a stable balanced E string. This model has a carbon steel core wound with aluminium producing a warm clear tone that blends naturally with the other violin strings. A medium 5.6 kg tension provides balanced playing characteristics making it well suited to everyday practice and teaching.Changing atmospheric conditions and humidity can affect string performance but this Dominant E string is designed to remain highly stable through these variations. This consistency has made Dominant strings widely used as a benchmark by students and teachers around the world particularly when choosing strings for smaller fractional-size violins. This version also has a ball end which provides a secure attachment point to the tailpiece.
