EDELRID Safety device pinch (second brake level, anti-panic function, direct belt attachment)

Versatile application: safety device with locking support for sport climbing, multi-pitch lengths and rope access technology. Improved control and operability: close to the body thanks to direct belt attachment increases brake cable control and facilitates handling. 20-30 cm more rope can be spent for the steer at once. Safety and relief: no risk of cross-loading of the safety carabiner with direct belt attachment. Anti-panic function: the integrated anti-panic function provides additional safety, especially for beginners. It prevents uncontrolled draining and can be disabled if necessary. An additional second brake level at low load or high cable friction extends the possibilities of the pinch. Wide rope compatibility: suitable for dynamic ropes from 8.5 to 10.5 mm and static ropes from 10.0 to 10.5 mm diameter (up to 120 kg maximum user weight).
