Upgrade fire and smoke sealing with the Exitex Self Adhesive Intumescent Door Strip with Brush. The surface mounted design is easy to retrofit and does not require routing. The intumescent core expands in heat and the integrated brush seals gaps of 2 to 4 mm to reduce smoke spread. Tested to BS 476 Part 22 for 30 minute FD30 performance when used with a suitable door set. The 5.2 m roll is 25 mm wide, has a durable white finish, and covers the head and jambs of most single doors. The kit includes a wipe for preparation and fire door stickers for compliance. For best adhesion, unroll and lay flat overnight, then apply to a clean and dry frame with firm, even pressure.
