Kyrö Malt Rye Whisky is the first Finnish single batch rye whisky made from 100% Finnish malted whole grain rye. The unique whisky is a delight whether neat, on ice or in a cocktail and combines flavors of honey, rye bread, pepper and red wild berries accompanied by vanilla and oak. The Kyrö Distillery was founded in 2012 after the founders drank rye whiskey during a sauna visit and wondered why no one in the rye country of Finland was producing whiskey from rye. The Kyrö Company sees climate, social and resource issues as the starting point of its strategy and focuses on sustainability and the promotion of equality.
